Ultradent, Inc. Partners with Crown Council’s Smiles for Life Foundation with Opalescence Whitening Products

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah, January 30, 2014—Ultradent Products, Inc. has partnered with the Crown Council in support of their annual 120-day Smiles for Life Foundation campaign, which encourages patients to “whiten [their] teeth and help a child.” The 2014 campaign will run from March 1 through June 30. During the campaign, approximately 1,000 participating Crown Council dentists throughout the U.S. and Canada will donate 100% of the proceeds from any teeth whitening procedure performed, toward helping children in their local communities and throughout the world. Ultradent has pledged to support the Smiles for Life Foundation by donating Opalescence whitening products to fulfill 100% of the campaign’s tooth whitening needs.

Park Dental, St. Croix Valley Dental Combine Dental Practices

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 28, 2014 – Park Dental, an independent group practice based in the Twin Cities metropolitan area, today announced that St. Croix Valley Dental’s 14 general dentists and eight practice locations have merged with Park Dental effective January 1. The combined organization now boasts a total of 111 doctors and 36 practice locations operating under the Park Dental name.

LED Medical Signs Agreement with BC Cancer Agency to Create Oral Cancer Test

BURNABY, British Columbia – January 14, 2014 - LED Medical Diagnostics is proud to announce that it has signed an agreement with the BC Cancer Agency to form a collaborative relationship with Genome British Columbia (Genome BC) to create and commercialize a progression-risk assessment test for oral cancer. The test, the first of its kind for oral cancer, is based on a quantifiable genetic phenomenon known as “Loss of Heterozygosity,” or “LOH.”
