The Canary System Bolsters Claims To Detect Interproximal Caries

Quantum Dental Technologies (QDT) announced findings further confirming that The Canary System® can detect caries on interproximal surfaces. The findings were formally presented at the American Association of Dental Research (AADR) Meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina last week.

Delta Dental of New Jersey Names New Chief Clinical Officer

PARSIPPANY, N.J. — March 18, 2014 — Delta Dental of New Jersey announces the appointment of Dr. Keith Libou as chief clinical officer, effective February 28th. Dr. Libou replaces Dr. Scott Navarro, who retired after 17 years with the company.

 Holly Garvin from Dental Associates in Appleton, WI and Alex Sakovich from Smile Builders in Palatine, IL were each the lucky winners of a brand new iPAD Air from Vident during the annual LMT LAB DAY Chicago, held February 21-22, 2014 at the Sheraton Chicago. To enter to win, participants had to complete an official entry form and attend a Vident demonstration clinic. The entry form was included in a pre-show mailer that went out to attendees ahead of the show, making it easy for them to choose from the six Vident clinics offered, complete the entry form, attend a demonstration and then drop the entry in the raffle box.

Cosmedent Donation To America’s Toothfairy Helps Spread Children’s Smiles

(Charlotte, NC, March 18, 2014) -  Thanks to a generous product donation from Cosmedent, Inc. totaling over $72,000, at-risk youth across the country will receive essential oral health services.  The contribution of Mirror Image A2 and Adjust A2 products was distributed to ten non-profit clinical programs in the Affiliate Network of the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s Toothfairy (NCOHF) spanning from Pennsylvania to California.  This national network of community-based healthcare facilities and outreach programs provides educational, preventive and restorative services for children of vulnerable populations.
