Twelfth Annual Dental Office Design Competition

EMERYVILLE, CA, April 2011 – Wells Fargo Practice Finance is now accepting entries for the 2011 Dental Office Design Competition, brought to you by Wells Fargo Practice Finance, Dental Economics, ADA Business ResourcesSM and the American Dental Association.

All newly built offices and offices with leasehold improvements or renovations completed between
January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2010 are eligible to enter. All practice types and sizes are welcome.
Entries must be postmarked by July 31, 2011.

Aspen Dental Reminds Patients About Dangers of Oral Cancer

SYRACUSE, N.Y., March 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Aspen Dental, one of the largest and fastest-growing networks of dental care providers in the U.S., is reminding patients about the importance of oral cancer screening and early detection in recognition of Oral Cancer Awareness Month (April).

According to the Oral Cancer Foundation, close to 37,000 Americans will be diagnosed with oral or pharyngeal cancer this year, which is responsible for approximately 8,000 deaths annually. Common risk factors for oral cancer include use of tobacco products (smoked and smokeless), excessive alcohol consumption, and HPV infection.
