J. Morita USA discontinues ATD Automatic Crown & Bridge Remover

IRVINE, Calif. – (November 11, 2010) – J. Morita USA today announced the discontinuation of the sale and distribution of the ATD Automatic Crown and Bridge Remover in North America. This decision was made as a result of the company’s desire to focus resources on equipment developed by its parent company, J. Morita Manufacturing Corporation. This change takes effect immediately, as inventory supplies have been depleted.

3M ESPE Donation Benefits the NCOHF Oral Health Zone Program

(Charlotte, NC November 11, 2010) 3M ESPE Dental Products donated 24,600 units of Vanish™ 5% NaF White Varnish to National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s Toothfairy (NCOHF), to support the establishment of community-based NCOHF Oral Health Zone Programs through Affiliate locations across the country.

The following NCOHF Affiliates benefited from the generous 3M ESPE product donation that will be used in preventive oral care collaborations as part of the NCOHF Oral Health Zone Program:

EAO reshuffles its structure and board

Brussels, November 9, 2010 – The European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) has announced a new board and committee structure. The association has a new President and three new board members. They will be supported by five committees.

Dr. Paul Stone (UK) takes over as President of the EAO from Prof. Christoph Hämmerle (Switzerland). This is the first time that EAO has a British President.
