Dental Implant Training Center Announces Fall CE Schedule

Fair Lawn, NJ – September 1, 2011 – The Dental Implant Training Center (DITC) , which offers courses and training programs for the dental implant novice to the experienced oral surgeon, has announced its fall 2011 continuing education training schedule.

DITC is located at the epicenter of the New York Metropolitan area in Bergen County, New Jersey. The center’s courses are conducted in a state-of-the-art classroom and designed with both the practitioner and patient in mind to ensure successful implant surgery outcomes.

The courses are one or two days long and include lectures and thorough hands-on training sessions conducted by internationally recognized thought leaders on dental Implantology, periodontology and oral surgery such as Michael Peleg, DMD whose lecture, “Advanced Implant Placement: Block Bone Graft and Open Sinus Lift” is back  by popular demand.

New Patterson Technology Center To Open September 26

Patterson Companies Inc. announces that its upgraded Patterson Technology Center (PTC) will begin serving customers from its new location in Effingham, Ill., on Monday, September 26, 2011. A Grand Opening event is scheduled for late October. The spacious state-of-the-art environment strengthens the PTC’s comprehensive software development, digital technology and call center support capabilities in the markets served by Patterson Dental, Webster Veterinary and Patterson Medical – the businesses that comprise Patterson Companies.

OSAP Supports International Infection Prevention Week October 16-22

ANNAPOLIS, MD—September 15, 2011—The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) has signed on as a Supporting Partner with the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (APIC) and other associations to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW), October 16-22, 2011.
“IIPW activities bring greater attention to the importance of infection prevention and honor the professionals who deliver healthcare to patients safely,” said Therese Long, OSAP Executive Director.  OSAP is proud to be part of a global network that is targeting this week to highlight and promote the importance of patient and provider safety,” she said.

MIS Implants Holds First Annual Cycling Event

Fair Lawn, NJ (September 12, 2011) - MIS Implants Technologies, Ltd., a leading manufacturer of dental implants, has scheduled their first annual 30-mile bike ride for September 25, 2011. Although space is limited, MIS Implants welcomes clients, friends and family, as well as local NJ residents to participate in the ride.

This cycling event is meant to gather the local dental community for a fun, stress-free ride, while promoting health and well-being. “We’re looking ahead, excited about the prospect of turning this event into an annual ride built around fundraising for local charities,” says Motti Weisman, CEO of MIS Implants Technologies, Inc. (USA).  “I’ll proudly be participating in the event alongside a number of MIS Implants employees.”
