OSAP and Henry Schein Partner to Raise Awareness for Safer Dentistry

ANNAPOLIS, MD — May 6, 2014 — Celebrating 30 years of commitment to the safe and infection-free delivery of oral health care, the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) announced today that it has partnered with Henry Schein Dental, the U.S. dental business of Henry Schein, Inc., to help raise awareness about patient safety through infection control. During the month of May, Henry Schein will feature highlights of OSAP’s SafestDentalVisit™ campaign in a sales promotion, and the company will donate a portion of sales from selected infection control products to the OSAP Foundation.

Patterson Foundation And Patterson Dental Join To Support New Prince Of Peace Dental Clinic

April 28, 2014 (St. Paul, MN) – In a joint effort of the Patterson Foundation, Patterson Dental and other dental organizations and professionals, the Prince of Peace Dental Clinic opened its doors April 1 to low-income residents of the Minneapolis suburb of Burnsville and neighboring communities. The 420-square-foot clinic is located within the Mission Outpost complex at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville.

Professor Andreas Mandelis, Co-Founder of Quantum Dental Technologies (QDT) and Co-Inventor of the core technology behind The Canary System, is the winner of the 2014 Killam Prize, one of Canada’s most prestigious scholarly awards. The Killam Prize recognises outstanding career achievement by scholars actively engaged in research.
