SEATTLE, March 19, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) has awarded a fellowship to support advocating for public policy that positively impacts dental education and oral health care. Mark S. Schweizer, D.D.S., M.P.H., Assistant Professor and Director of Development and Special Projects at NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was named the 2013 ADEA/Sunstar Americas, Inc./Harry W. Bruce, Jr. Legislative Fellow at the 2013 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition, being held March 16-19 in Seattle, Washington.

The 2013 International Dental Show in Cologne was a special event for Nobel Biocare. The company
made several major announcements including the endowment of the Foundation for Oral Rehabilitation. "FOR," to be led by the most renowned scholars in oral rehabilitation, will be a landmark in Nobel Biocare's history and commitment to training, education, science and humanitarian engagement. The official inauguration of FOR will take place at the Nobel Biocare Global Symposium in New York, 20-23 June.

The America’s ToothFairy Affiliate network is comprised of non-profit community clinics and outreach programs dedicated to providing oral health services for children in need.
