Pulpdent donation makes kids smile

WATERTOWN, MA:  November 13, 2010 - Pulpdent Corporation donated Embrace WetBond Pit & Fissure Sealant, Etch-Rite Etching Gel and Flecta Disposable Mirrors for a sealant day at the dental clinic at Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville, NC on October 22.  Each dental hygienist worked with a volunteer registered dental hygienist or dental assistant to place dental sealants on 38 children from Northwoods Elementary School. The team of volunteers and students placed 195 sealants. The sealant day in Jacksonville was one of many across the country that Pulpdent has supported with product donations.

Rockland Dentist Speaks at ADA Conference in Orlando

Pomona, NY (November 12, 2010) Dr. Marvin A. Fier recently spoke at the American Dental Association’s (ADA) Annual Meeting in Orlando Florida. This gathering is considered to be one of the largest and most prestigious in the field of dentistry. The Rockland-based Dentist appeared in two different sessions; one, an address to industry leaders and another, a hands-on work session.

“It’s my honor to share my experience of more than 35 years in the dental profession, particularly at this highly regarded, internationally recognized event,” stated Fier, “If we all share our knowledge, it is the patients who< benefit in the end.”

Eco-Dentistry Association Announces Products that Reach Accepted Status

Launch of EDA Accepted Seal for Environmentally Friendly Products and Services Announced at EDA’s Green Lounge Event at 2010 ADA Session

Berkeley, CA (November 11, 2010) – The Eco-Dentistry Association™ (EDA), an international membership association formed to promote environmentally sound practices in dentistry, recently announced several products that have achieved the newly created EDA Accepted Seal.  The newly launched exclusive EDA Accepted Seal is for products and services that meet specific environmental criteria.

J. Morita USA discontinues ATD Automatic Crown & Bridge Remover

IRVINE, Calif. – (November 11, 2010) – J. Morita USA today announced the discontinuation of the sale and distribution of the ATD Automatic Crown and Bridge Remover in North America. This decision was made as a result of the company’s desire to focus resources on equipment developed by its parent company, J. Morita Manufacturing Corporation. This change takes effect immediately, as inventory supplies have been depleted.
