The interactive site has gone live at www.pentronstrada.com and contains open forums for discussions on a broad array of dental issues as well as access to helpful dental practice tools, patient education materials and problem-solving strategies.
"At Pentron we have a long-standing reputation for delivering recognizable quality and value in what we do," said Adrienne Collins, Product Manager. "We understand that it takes more than just great tools to achieve optimal dental health. So, to demonstrate this belief and remain true to our heritage, Pentron wanted to create deeper, more comprehensive relationships with the dental professionals we serve; relationships built on dialogue and creating solutions that can help build successful practices. Strada is just getting started but we feel we've established a platform where that can happen."
Collins added that the name for the ambitious new venture was derived from the concept of "a new path, road, or means to a new relationship" between manufacturer, customers, and end-users.
Strada will be regularly updated with content including patient education modules, dental news, links to interesting information for dentists and their staffs and patients, and other interactive content designed to help dentists share ideas.
Databases within Strada are fed by incoming news feeds and user interaction, and willgrow in depth and breadth as more participants log on.
"Strada is another way for us to provide dental professionals with something valuable from Pentron," added Collins, "even without making a purchase."
Back in 1967, Pentron (www.pentron.com) set a standard for quality and value in the dental consumables marketplace. Its goal was to stay ahead of the curve by creating technologically advanced products that would enhance the practice of dentistry. And that's exactly what the company has been doing ever since. Keeping true to its roots, Pentron strives to continue enhancing the practice of dentistry and to rise to meet its customers' ever-changing and ever-broadening needs.
