(Charlotte, NC – April 13, 2011) With a considerable product donation totaling over $75,000 in product from Septodont, eight non-profit affiliates of the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s ToothfairyÒ (NCOHF) will have the necessary anesthetic needed to provide critical dental treatment to underserved families. This donation of Septocaine and Octocaine anesthetic will enable these community-based affiliates of the NCOHF to reach thousands with the treatment services they need.
“We are very proud to contribute our products to the noble cause of NCOHF,” said Kent Chiu, President Septodont North America. “Effective pain control is essential in many of the cases. No child should have to suffer needlessly during treatments for pediatric dental disease.”
Donations such as these ensure that the network of NCOHF affiliates have the materials necessary to provide comprehensive oral health treatment, services and education to those suffering from dental disease. “Millions endure immense pain caused by untreated dental decay,” said Fern Ingber, NCOHF President and CEO. “Septodont’s substantial product and generous financial support enables our affiliates to reach the underserved and deliver the treatment needed to end their suffering.”
