(Edmonton, AB) – Dentists and technicians from across Canada recently traveled to the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton, Alberta to attend a hands-on course on how to prepare successful restorations with Milled Titanium. Led by Vident Technical Instructor, Ken Chizick, R.D.T., C.D.T., each attendee learned specific techniques on the preparation of Nobel Procera™ Titanium Alloy and the application of VITA® Titanium porcelain. A brief lecture covering Titanium technology and VITA furnace calibration for Titanium was discussed, followed by the preparation of VITA Bonder application and Furnace Thermodynamics. A demonstration of how to properly set furnace firing schedules was also shown.
