The new Cytco-K Titanium Post System combines the best of both parallel and tapered systems. For stability and retention, this titanium-alloy post begins with a parallel design, which incorporates tapered ends to eliminate stress in the apical portion. Each post has self-tapping threads at the top that secure themselves only in the cervical area of the root where the walls are thickest.
