Toll Free: (888) 49-LASER (5-2737) Dr. Gregg has obtained his Mastership and educator’s certification in the Academy of Laser Dentistry as provided for in the Laser Curriculum Guidelines. He has been using lasers clinically since August 1990, including CO2, free-running pulsed (FRP) Nd:YAG, both single and variable pulsed; FRP Ho:YAG, surgical argon, continuous wave diodes and Er:YAG. He is a co-developer of the US Food and Drug Administration-cleared PerioLase MVP-7 pulsed Nd:YAG laser, which was awarded the Pride Institute's Best-of-Class Technology Award in 2012. He is program director for the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry and is a founder of Millennium Dental Technologies. He is a codeveloper and patent holder of the Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP) periodontal protocol. He also maintains a group private practice, seeing patients 2 days per week. Dr. Gregg was recently appointed as a peer review member of the Dentistry Today continuing education editorial board to review all continuing education articles related to the topic of lasers. He has given lectures internationally on the subject of clinical laser applications, and has conducted seminars for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Department of continuing education. He is also a former faculty member at UCLA School of Dentistry, section of hospital dentistry. In addition to authoring several peer-reviewed articles on the clinical applications of FRP Nd:YAG for endodontic and periodontal uses. Dr. Gregg is also an author of the Curriculum Guidelines and Standards for Dental Laser Education, versions 1992 and 1998. |
