Dr. Hoexter is director of the International Academy of Dental Facial Aesthetics, an organization that combines physicians and dentists with other related fields in research and relates its findings to clinical practice. He received his DMD degree from Tufts University, in Boston, Mass, where he was an adjunct professor in periodontics. He is a Diplomate of Implantology in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Society of Osseointegration. He is a Diplomate of Dental Aesthetics from the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry. He has been awarded 11 Fellowships and maintains a practice in New York City limited to periodontics, implantology, and cosmetic periodontal surgery. He is also clinical professor in the periodontal and implant department at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa. He was previously clinical professor in periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh, Pa. Dr. Hoexter lectures throughout the world and has published extensively internationally.
